Love supporting young children’s learning and development? We urgently require qualified L2 and L3 Nursery Practitioners (and qualified Early Years Teachers) for various short and long-term roles in North Dorset nurseries.

We are looking for proactive individuals who have:

  • You must have an NVQ level 2, 3 or above qualification in Child Care
  • Excellent communication skills with children, staff, and parents
  • A good working knowledge of EYFS
  • A clear understanding of all relevant safeguarding legislation
  • Able to assist the Room Leader and management in providing good quality care and education
  • Experience of key groups and effective daily management of the room
  • Support children’s learning and development through engaging activities.
  • Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment.
  • Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
  • Observe, assess, and record children’s progress.
  • Promote children’s welfare and wellbeing at all times.

Keeping Children Safe in Education 

Supply Tree will conduct online searches of shortlisted candidates. This check will be part of a safeguarding check, and the search will purely be based on whether an individual is suitable to work with children. All aspects of social media and internet searches will be conducted. As care must be taken to avoid unconscious bias and any risk of discrimination, a person who will not on the appointment panel will conduct the searches and will only share information if and when findings are relevant and of concern.
